About BlueSky Ventures: The Entrepreneurship Mindset

How do you know if a new business venture is going to succeed?

In BlueSky Ventures, you'll learn the critical skills needed to assess business strategy. In this quick, interactive game, you will assist a group of investors in deciding which startup to back while learning vital skills drawn from the latest research on strategy and entrepreneurship.

Engaging characters bring the BlueSky Ventures world to life, giving you a chance to learn in a whole new way. You will have a chance to analyze business models, interview executive founders, and build financial projections for a variety of realistic businesses.

This game is self-contained and will teach you all the skills you need to know. You'll hear from Wharton faculty, and receive personalized feedback and suggestions for further growth.

Free and On-Demand

BlueSky Ventures is a free, on-demand game that takes between 60-90 minutes. Play through it once, or multiple times!

What is an Alternate Reality Course (ARC)?

Built on our ARC platform, Alternate Reality Courses are a new breed of serious games. Every course combines world-class subject matter expertise, hyper-immersive interactive fiction, the science of learning, and innovative game design. ARCs are deeply engaging, teach through experience, and promote robust and enduring knowledge that you can (and will!) use beyond the course.

An ARC teaches you in three ways:

Learning objectives - skills you will learn and use in the future

Practice objectives - specific experiences you will encounter, so that when you see them in the real world, you will know what to do

Thinking objectives - mental techniques you will learn that are applicable outside of the context of the simulation
