Individual Learner Purchase Support
I’d like to purchase an experience. How can I see all my options?
Click the Learning Experiences button at the top of your screen. Be sure you are on the For individual learners tab, not For instructors. Under this individual learners tab, you’ll see all the experiences available for purchase.
I’m trying to purchase an experience, and I don’t see an option on this page to Buy or Add to basket. How can I purchase the experience?
Some experiences are not available for individual learners to purchase at this time. When you are on the Learning Experiences page, be sure you are looking at the experiences under the For individual learners tab, not the For instructors tab. You will not be able to purchase any experience under the For instructors tab - switch over to For individual learners to see what’s available.
Do I need to create an account in order to purchase?
Yes; you need to create an account or log in to your existing account to make a purchase.
How do I add experiences to my basket?
You must be logged in to purchase. Once you’re logged in, click the Learning Experiences button at the top of your screen, and select the experience you’d like to purchase. On the experience page, you’ll see a bar at the bottom of the screen with a button that says Buy and the name of the experience. When you click that button, the page will scroll down automatically. You will be prompted to select your certificate level and start date (if applicable). Once you make your selection, click Add to Basket then click the Proceed to Checkout button, or continue browsing.
How do I choose the date I’d like to play the experience?
When you’ve decided when you’d like to play, scroll down the page to the box that says Buy. You will see a button that says, Select start date. When you click that button, you’ll be able to select a date from a drop-down list. You do not have to select a date right away; you can choose your date after you purchase. You can also change your date up to 24 hours before your experience begins.
I want to join an experience, but none of these date work for me. Can I choose my own date?
For the experiences that have a start date selector, you must choose from the dates available. We add new dates frequently, so if you’re unable to join any of the ones listed, check back soon!
How can I view and make changes to my basket?
To view your basket, make sure you are first logged in. Click the basket icon in the top right corner of any screen. This will take you to your basket. If you wish to make changes, click the Edit button next to the experience you wish to change.
I no longer want to purchase the experience in my basket. How do I remove it?
To remove items in your basket, click the basket icon in the top right corner of any screen to view your basket. them Click the Remove button next to the experience you wish to remove.
I want to change the type of certification that I selected. How can I do so?
To change your certificate level, click the basket icon in the top right corner of any screen to view your basket. them Click the Edit button next to the experience you wish to edit. You will then be taken to a new screen where you will see all the certificate levels. Select the certificate you would like to purchase instead, then click the Update basket button.
Can I change the type of certificate after I’ve already completed my purchase?
You can make changes up to 24 hours before the start date of your experience. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to change your certificate level at any time prior.
Can I choose a different certificate level for an experience’s prerequisite than the one I selected for the experience itself?
You will need to choose the same certificate level for both an experience and its prerequisite. For example, if you want to purchase an advanced certificate for an experience that has a prerequisite, you will need to purchase the advanced certificate of the perquisite.
I have a experience in my basket; how do I complete my purchase?
Click on the basket icon in the top right corner of any screen to view your basket. From there, click Proceed to checkout. Enter your discount code if you have one; if not, click Proceed to payment. Enter your billing information and payment details, and click Pay. You will be taken to a confirmation page, and you will also receive a confirmation email.
Can I use a payment method other than a credit card?
At this time, the only payment method available is credit card.
Do you take any global payment methods?
Yes; we accept credit cards from outside the US. Upon checkout, the credit card will be authenticated with your bank.
How do I enter my billing address if I live internationally?
When you select your country or region, the billing fields will automatically update with the required information.
Will be credit card be processed securely?
Yes. Wharton Interactive does not hold credit card data. We use Cybersource for all payments; please visit their Payment processing security page and their Fraud and risk management page for more information.
How do I know if my transaction was processed successfully?
After you enter your billing information and payment details, click the Pay button. If your payment was successful, you’ll be taken to a screen that says your order is complete. You will also be sent a confirmation email. If your payment was not successful, you’ll see a red bar across the top of the screen explaining the error that needs to be corrected.
Can I purchase an experience as a gift?
At this time, we are not offering gift cards for experiences. If you wish to purchase an experience as a gift, we suggest having your gift recipient create an account with us and use your payment information to complete the purchase.
